What to Expect
Read on for what to expect mentoring when you sign up to become an Affinity Mentoring mentor!
Submit your application online to one of our school locations (Note: this can be changed at a later date manually if needed). Once you’ve submitted an application, you will be contacted by an Affinity Mentoring staff member to schedule an interview.
We want to get to know you; to hear more of your story, to see if our program is a good fit for you and what type of student would be best matched with you.
3. BACKGROUND CHECK
We’ll also do a screening or background check that involves following up with references you’ve provided.
We want to make sure you’re well prepared before your first mentoring session. With your application, interview, and background check complete, we’ll invite you to attend our New Mentor Training with other new mentors.
