A Mentor Is...
Mentoring Is…
- A mutual relationship
- A place to simply be you
- A safe place to talk
- A relationship that includes the whole family
- A place to learn and grow
ONE HOUR. ONCE PER WEEK
After proper training, our mentors are carefully matched to a student for the school year. Matches meet one-on-one for one hour, once per week, at school. During that time, students and mentors can spend time:
- Talking and learning about things that are important to the your mentee
- Reading
- Playing games
- Working on homework
- Building social skills
The relationships built during this time provide the extra emotional, social, and academic support that every student needs throughout life.
