Burton Middle School
Burton Middle School is located on the South side of Grand Rapids and is part of Grand Rapids Public Schools. The facility houses both Burton Elementary and Burton Middle Schools, making the Mentor Center a central location to serve both. Mentor matches that begin in elementary may continue as the student moves up into 6th, 7th and 8th grades at Burton Middle School.

Burton Middle School
The Mentor Center at Burton Middle School features some small cubicles for mentors to work with students on homework assignments as well as a reading nook full of books. For those that are creative, the center features a studio space with materials and guides on things to make. There are bins full of sports equipment to borrow during a session. And, the shelves are well stocked with lots of activities & resources that facilitate academic and social emotional learning.
