Though we are incredibly sad to see her leave, we are thrilled to celebrate that our Office Coordinator, Holly Hetherington, is transitioning to an amazing human resources position that will allow her to use her experience to improve retention and diversify pipelining at a local partner company. We celebrate all of the amazing skills, knowledge, wisdom, thoughtfulness, and general sass that she has brought to the Affinity Mentoring team. Holly, we are cheering for you!

Blind Hiring Process
Affinity Mentoring is working to support diversity, equity, and justice in both word and practice. Please note that we are conducting a blind hiring process to reduce implicit bias. This means that all identifying information will be redacted by a third party before we review resumes/cover letters/CV’s, we will score resumes and cover letters based strictly on skills listed in the job description, and candidates with the highest skill scores will be called for interviews.
The identifying information that will be removed is listed below.
- Phone number
- Fax number
- Other contact information
- School attended (NOT degree acquired)
- Location of the school attended
- Gender pronouns
- Associations/Clubs that would explicitly disclose how an applicant identifies (race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, status, etc.)
- Names of Scholarships received specific to the school attended
- Supervisor names
- Cover letter date
- References (these will be included only once interviews begin)
